Favorite Sweet Granola

We discovered how easy it was to make homemade granola about a year ago and now always have some in the pantry.  One batch usually lasts us two weeks.  We love eating it with milk or yogurt and fruit.

You will love how easy it is to throw together.  My two year old loves making it with us.  His job is to pour the oats and sunflower seeds in (which adds to our clean up time).

This recipe is sweet, just how I like it, and has the perfect crunch factor.  I highly recommend adding toasted almonds, we used to until we found out about our sons nut allergy.  I do miss the smell of almonds, but enjoy the nuttiness from the sunflower seeds.

Keep a close eye on the granola while it's cooking.  You want it golden brown, but golden brown turns to dark brown real quick.
