Cinnamon Roll Pancakes with Cream Cheese Syrup

The first thing my son asks for when he wakes up in the morning is pancakes.  The word pancake was one of the first words he learned to speak.  So, I am always on the lookout for inspiration to make ordinary pancakes a little more special.

Cinnamon roll pancakes combines two of our favorite breakfast foods, yet they are much more time efficient and seriously delicious.

I tried making the filling with melted butter and softened butter,  I prefer using the soften because it gave me more control when forming the swirls in the batter.
