Apple Cider Ice Cream

Nothing sweeter than tasting an apple in season.   My husband and I were amazed when we tasted a apple I had just bought from the grocery store.  The sugar in the apple made our mouths water and my husband truthfully said, "this is how a apple should taste".

This recipe for Apple Cider Ice Cream was inspired by all of the "real" apples we have eaten this fall.  I decided to add a little of Stephen's Carmel Apple Cider Mix to the  ice cream to give it a hint of carmel goodness.   We LOVED this recipe.  I can say that it is my now three year old's favorite.  He downed his bowl of ice cream and then asked for a straw to slurp up the melted left overs.
