Cheesy Burger Soup

We love everything about this soup... except its name.   The original title was Cheeseburger Soup- every time I read the name it reminded of a greasy fast food hamburger, which then makes me think...ugh.  So I changed the name into really the same name but some how I feel better about the separation of cheese and burger.

This soup reminded me of my grandma who always had either hamburger soup or hamburger casserole waiting for us when we would visit.   It is the perfect comfort soup!

(Next time, I want to experiment with making the ground beef into meatballs)
