Adding more sugar and butter to an already packed cookie makes it impossible to resist. I titled this frosting recipe, "insane" for good reason. It is a whipped frosting that is fluffy and sweetened with a hint of vanilla. It is "insanely good" on cookies, but also as a cake filling and frosting.
I have made this two different ways, by hand and in my Kitchen Aid. The Kitchen Aid produced a slightly grainier texture, but the grains were just sugar crystals, which I actually loved! Either way is INSANE!
